The Scratch Mug is hand-thrown on the wheel and fired to cone 6, with a textured surface created by scratching directly into the clay. The result is a mug that feels alive in your hands — layers of fine lines wrapping around the form like the quiet marks of time and process.
Available in four distinct colorways, each with its own character:

Rust Red — warm and grounding, like sun-baked earth and aged iron. A mug that feels like it belongs by a fireplace or wrapped in both hands on a slow morning.

Smoke Green — muted and organic, with the quiet depth of moss and stone. A color that shifts subtly in different light, never quite the same twice.

Cream White - with a subtle gradient — glossy and bright at the top, fading into a softer, matte off-white toward the base.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Wrought Iron Black — bold and elemental. The scratched texture catches the light against the dark glaze, giving it an almost industrial edge softened by the handmade form.

Each mug is a one-of-a-kind piece. Because they are hand-thrown and individually textured, no two are exactly alike — the scratch marks, glaze breaks, and subtle variations are what make yours entirely your own.
